Four players could miss Eintracht Frankfurt vs Tottenham after huge Son Heung-Min update

have been dealt a major blow ahead of their quarter-final second leg against Eintracht Frankfurt, with still unavailable.

Son missed the 4-2 defeat to Wolves in the last weekend and hasn't travelled with the squad to Germany. confirmed on Wednesday that he has been suffering with a foot injury in recent weeks.

"He's been battling with his foot problem for a few weeks now and managed [to play] through it," the Spurs boss said. "He trained the last few days, he tried to train yesterday and it wasn't right so we made the decision to leave him at home to allow him to recuperate and see the best mode of recovery for him."

Despite the significant blow, is set to return to squad, after missing the last four Premier League games with a thigh issue.

"Danso hasn’t featured since the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth in early March, but his return comes as a major boost for Postecoglou.

Tottenham will look to secure a place in the semi-final of the Europa League at Frankfurt after being held to a 1-1 draw at home last week. Pedro Porro scored the only goal for Spurs, cancelling Hugo Ekitike's six-minute opener.

In addition to Son's absence, Radu Dragusin will also remain unavailable. The centre-back, who suffered a cruciate ligament tear in February, is expected to miss the remainder of the season as he continues his recovery.

As for the hosts, Frankfurt will remain without goalkeeper Kevin Trapp and Krisztian Lisztes.

"It’s nice that Ansgar Knauff and Kevin Trapp are back," head coach Dino Toppmoller said. Trapp won’t be involved yet tomorrow. Knauff will be back in the squad."

The 44-year-old also hailed Spurs' quality, anticipating a tough test for his team. "We know all about the quality Tottenham have and that it’ll be extremely tough," Toppmoller added.

"But we’re also confident in our own qualities and what we’ve achieved on the pitch. Tottenham’s 4-2 defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League at the weekend is irrelevant because they’re only focusing on the Europa League."
