fans brutally ribbed him for modelling a £400 'Lidl jacket' after posing in a new collection online.

The star's followers didn't let the moment pass with dozens all saying the same thing as they reacted to the moody snap of the Oasis singer. Looking trendy in the coat, people were quick to spot the red, blue and yellow number looked a little familiar.

Berghaus used the colours made famous by the budget supermarket chain for their big collab and it didn't go unnoticed. They toasted the partnership by 'celebrating iconic reunions in 2024' with Liam saying he owned one of their jackets before he found fame back in the 90s.

But fans weren't feeling sentimental and gave him plenty of stick on . "Collaboration with Lidl?" one wrote in the jokes-packed comments section. Another said: "Lidl by lidl." A third put: "If Lidl would open a store on top of Mont Blanc, this is what I would pull up with."

Liam and the supermarket already have a bond. has hilariously unveiled a blue plaque in his honour at one of its stores after the star "almost played" there after problems at the nearby Live arena. Asked by a fan at the time what he would do if his shows were affected, 51-year old Liam responded: "Gig in Lidl." The German firm duly obliged, meanwhile, joking in a reference to an Oasis hit: "We’re gonna roll with it."

Warring brothers and have put their differences to one side to revive the band 15 years after their acrimonious split. Taking to the stage next year on a sell-out tour, a source working on the shows has revealed how the former foes will be “very separate” from one another.

“Noel and Liam are returning and reuniting, but don’t for one minute think that this is a tour about complete brotherly love and going out night after night and being together 24/7 like the old days,” said the insider. “They will not be in each other’s pockets and effectively be separate entities that come together for necessary promotional work and the gigs.

Described as a “military operation”, the brothers will have separate dressing rooms and prep areas as well as their own travel itineraries, says the insider. It’s said the reason for the distance is to minimise any chance of the brothers locking horns again. “Any fallout would be a PR and financial nightmare,”

The source went on to say. “Rehearsals will be the first time that they will be together for a significant amount of time working again. The atmosphere is sure to be electric, but also a little edgy.” Liam and Noel will set out on their huge reunion tour next year."
