However, the Gunners were dealt a blow when Gabriel was forced off due to injury shortly after the break, and Mohamed Salah scored in the 81st minute to secure a point for . Despite the game offering plenty of discussion points, Keane was seemingly unimpressed.

Speaking after the match, he expressed his disappointment with both teams - a sentiment that was quickly challenged on social media. One user posted: "Roy Keane is pathetic" - while another described the Irishman's blunt approach as "boring", saying: "Roy Keane doing his best to be like Roy Keane. Boring now."

Another user noted that the former Manchester United captain seemed to have changed his opinion during the second half, commenting: "Roy Keane talking about a lack of quality and intensity when in the first half they were saying how high quality the game was."

Saka told Sky Sports: "Disappointed, credit to Liverpool. We feel like we didn't play the full 90 minutes. First half we showed our qualities, gave them nothing and they scored from a set piece.
