UPSC ESE 2025 Postponed: The Union Public Service Commission conducts many types of examinations every year. The Engineering Services Examination is also one of them. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed the Engineering Services Examination-2025 (ESE) to give sufficient time to the candidates to prepare for the exam (UPSC ESE 2025 Date). Let us tell you that now recruitment will be done in the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) through both the Civil Services Examination (for Traffic, Accounts, and Personnel Sub-Cadre) and ESE (for Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Signal and Telecommunication and Store Sub-Cadre).

UPSC Engineering Services Exam 2025: When will the UPSC ESE 2025 exam be held?
The UPSC ESE 2025 exam was scheduled to be held in February. But now it has been extended. It is being told that this will give the candidates more time to prepare for the recruitment exam. The Union Public Service Commission has decided to postpone the UPSC ESE (Preliminary) as well as the UPSC ESE (Main) Examination, 2025. ESE (Preliminary) will be held on 8 June 2025 and ESE (Main) Exam 2025 on 10 August 2025.

There is time to apply.
Keeping in mind the government's decision to include IRMS in UPSC ESE-2025, now the commission has opened a new application window for new applicants from 18 October to 22 November. Along with this, it has also been decided to allow old applicants (who have applied during the application window of September to 8 October) to change their details. Applicants will be able to modify/edit their details in the application from 23 November to 29 November.
