While we were just devouring Radhika Merchant's stylish look from her birthday party, another video of her dancing to the hit song Sajna Ve Sajna from the movie Chameli at a friend's wedding went viral. However, when we caught sight of the grainy video, it was evident that her attire was somewhat familiar. Just a few seconds later, we realised we had seen this particular lehenga before, very recently in fact! The lehenga was unveiled a few days ago by Gen Z actress Ananya Panday who walked the ramp wearing it for Rohit Bal's finale show at the Laksme Fashion Week. Radhika wore a black velvet lehenga adorned with patchwork details of vibrant red roses and green leaves which is part of celebrity designer Rohit Bal's latest collection. The stylish lehenga was paired with a matching blouse and a cape which also features an embroidered bright red rose. The cropped cape jacket, decorated with intricate golden embroidery on the borders, was paired with a bustier-style sleeveless blouse.

The A-line cut, high-waisted lehenga featured a floor-length hem and delicate zardozi and sequin embellishments in a geometric pattern all over its length. 

Radhika styled her look with a high ponytail hairstyle and looked like the perfect bridesmaid as she twirled on the stage. She accessorised her look with a statement emerald necklace, and matching earrings and bracelet.

Ananya wore the exact same lehenga, being the one who actually showcased it to the public with her confident walk on the ramp. Ananya's look had a slight difference in the choice of her blouse. While Radhika had worn a bustier-style blouse, the CTRL actress styled her lehenga and cape with a matching bralette-style choli. She elevated the floral lehenga by highlighting it with her choice of makeup. Similarly, while Radhika paired the lehenga with minimal makeup, Ananya went with a bold makeup look featuring dramatic winged eyeliner and an eye-catching bright red lip shade.

She accessorised the lehenga with striking gold-hued earrings and a matching cuff bracelet to complete the bespoke golden zardozi work that the lehenga boasted. 

Lastly, she leaned heavily on the European theme of the unique lehenga with a slightly messy hairdo with soft tendrils of her hair framing her face beautifully.

Since both Radhika and Ananya brought their personal style with the stunning lehenga it is difficult to decide who looked better.
