TVS Motor Company is all set to refresh one of its best-selling scooters with the upcoming launch of the updated Jupiter 125. While TVS hasn’t confirmed the official launch date yet, the teaser points to an imminent debut. The manufacturer has released a teaser video on its social media channels, revealing partial details around its updated design. Here’s a look at what we can expect besides the sleeker tail section we have seen in the teaser.
2025 TVS Jupiter: What to expect
The Jupiter 125 currently stands as a strong player in India’s 125cc scooter market, going up against popular models like the Honda Activa 125 , Hero Destini 125, and more. As for the upcoming upgrade, there’s a possibility that the refreshed design will draw inspiration from the Jupiter 110 facelift that debuted last year and has been a hit since.
Design-wise, the new Jupiter 125 is likely to feature a modern LED headlight bar with integrated indicators, along with a full-LED tail lamp. The single-piece seat and pillion grab rail visible in the teaser suggest a more refined overall profile. As for hardware, it is likely to feature telescopic front forks, a front disc brake, and a rear drum brake.
Speaking of features, we can expect a fully digital LCD instrument console with SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity, offering call and SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation with voice guidance, and a ‘Find My Scooter’ function. Besides that, a USB charging port and a front-positioned external fuel filler cap are also expected to carry over from the Jupiter 110.
As for the engine, it will retain the existing 125cc single-cylinder engine that delivers 8 bhp and 10.5 Nm of torque. The version with iGO Assist , recently introduced, boosts output slightly to 8.44 bhp and 11.1 Nm. Both versions will be paired with a CVT automatic transmission.
