In an uncharacteristic turn of events, made a mess of the simplest of opportunities at long-off to grant Dhruv Jurel a lifeline during Match 28 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Sunday, April 13.

A full ball on the middle stump by Suyash Sharma was sliced by Jurel towards Kohli at the fence. The ace batter did not have that much to move, as he seemed to have settled under the ball quite nicely. However, to everyone's surprise, the otherwise gun fielder ended up shelling the easy chance.

Kohli was visibly frustrated as he flung the ball towards the middle in sheer disappointment. The 21-year-old was prevented his first wicket of the evening on his final delivery of the four-over spell. Suyash ended up conceding 39 in his allotted quota.
