The high-stakes encounter between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is underway at the iconic M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. CSK skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to field first. RCB brought in Lungi Ngidi in place of Josh Hazlewood.
The RCB openers Jacob Bethell and fired away at jet speed inside the powerplay against the CSK bowlers. The third over was bowled by the left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed to the veteran batter. The fifth ball of the over was delivered short of length and the right-handed batter found the top-edge. The ball found the second tier and disappeared into the crowd.
The very next ball was delivered by drifting on to the pads. The former RCB skipper has complete strength on the spot and picked up the ball. The batter launched it over deep square leg and the left-handed bowler got the treatment for the poor delivery.

The Indian legend broke another record of smashing most sixes for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (301*) in T20s and also smashed the most sixes (152*) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in T20s. The two openers smashed 71 runs in the powerplay and set the stakes high for the visitors.
CSK have been eliminated from the IPL 2025 and will aim to register victories to come back stronger in the next year’s IPL. Meanwhile, RCB are at the third in the points table with seven wins and will aim to win the match in front of their home crowd to strengthen their chances in the playoffs qualification.
