Akasa Air on Tuesday said it has begun progressively restoring its flight operations to and from the Middle East, following the easing of airspace restrictions and the reopening of several regional airports.
The airline said it is operating in full compliance with international aviation authorities and established safety protocols.
The update comes a day after Qatar and other Gulf nations had temporarily shut their airspaces due to tensions between Iran and Israel. This had led to temporary airspace closures and flight cancellations.
“We understand that the current situation may have impacted your travel plans, and sincerely regret the inconvenience,” the airline said in a statement issued to passengers.
Akasa Air advised affected customers to check their flight status before heading to the airport and encouraged those impacted by cancellations or rescheduling to contact its 24x7 Akasa Care Centre at +91 9606 112131 for support.

Air India and Air India Express, too, have started resuming their operations gradually after temporarily suspending flights on Monday.
