A male passenger was discovered dead in the toilet of the 19413 Ahmedabad-Kolkata Express while it was at Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar railway station on Thursday.
The train was stopped at 2:10 PM after the incident was reported. GRP and RPF teams arrived at the scene, inspected the area, and removed the body. The deceased, believed to be between 30 and 35 years old, was travelling in a general coach at the rear of the train. No identification or ticket was found on him.
The body was discovered by another passenger after the train had left Bina Junction. Upon finding the deceased in the washroom, he informed the TTE, who then alerted the station manager and GRP. When the train reached Sagar, forensic experts were called in to examine the toilet and collect evidence.
