However, humid temperatures are persisting this week. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts clear skies to prevail in Mumbai on April 29.

The wind will be flowing at around 6 km/h while humidity stays at 79% and temperature is at 29 degrees Celsius as of 9 AM, giving light winds today. The rise in temperatures will be witnessed as the day proceeds.

The weather bureau issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds in several Vidarbha districts until May 1. As of April 28, Akola and Malegaon recorded 44.5 and 43.3 respectively.
