Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Indore continues to strengthen its public healthcare infrastructure with the inauguration of another CM Sanjeevani Clinic under the National Health Mission, as part of a city-wide initiative led by Indore Municipal Corporation.
The newly-constructed clinic in Ward 67, Balda Colony (Assembly Constituency-4) was inaugurated by Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav, in the presence of MLA Malini Gaud, Ward corporator Priya Dangi, Vaishnav Institute representative Purushottam Pasari and a large gathering of local residents.
Speaking at the event, Bhargav emphasised the city’s vision beyond cleanliness, stating, ‘We are fortunate to live in the cleanest city of India and now our goal is to make Indore the healthiest city as well.’ He announced that over 105 Sanjeevani Clinics are being developed across the city, of which 72 are already ready. The next big challenge, he said, lies in ensuring effective operations and management.

‘These clinics are dedicated to the treatment of the underprivileged,’ Bhargav said. ‘They will offer 117 types of medical tests and over 200 essential medicines — all free-of-cost. This marks a milestone in Indore’s journey toward accessible and inclusive healthcare,’ he added.
Gaud praised the initiative, stating, ‘The launch of this Sanjeevani Clinic brings the Chief Minister’s healthcare vision to life in Ward 67. Local residents will now have access to essential medical services right in their neighbourhood. I thank the Mayor and the Municipal Corporation for this significant contribution.’
