Muzaffarnagar: A woman has been arrested in Muzaffarnagar for allegedly killing her husband, claiming he forced her into prostitution, demanded intimate relations with others, and created obscene videos of her. She reported severe domestic violence when she resisted.
The woman stated that, driven by distress, she administered sedatives to her husband on June 21, then strangled him with a scarf. Initially, she attempted to mislead the police by presenting it as a suicide. However, the husband's brother suspected foul play and filed a complaint.
Upon rigorous interrogation, the woman confessed to the killing. Police revealed that the woman mixed sedatives into a meal before strangling her unconscious husband. The couple, married for five years, lived with their son and other family members.

Authorities have recovered the sedatives and the scarf used in the crime. The woman was arrested and sent to judicial custody.
