The 2025 edition of the JK Tyre-WIAA Women’s Rally to the Valley kicked off with great energy from the National Sports Club of India (NSCI) in Worli, Mumbai. Backed by JK Tyre and organised by the Western India Automobile Association (WIAA), this unique event brought together more than 300 women participants driving nearly 100 cars.
The flag-off ceremony of the 2025 JK Tyre-WIAA Women’s Rally to the Valley was a star-studded affair, with renowned Indian actress and model, Pooja Batra, joining as the guest of honour. Also present at the event were Praveen Gupta, Chief Marketing Officer of JK Tyre & Industries, and Nitin Dossa, Executive Chairman of the Western India Automobile Association (WIAA), along with several other distinguished guests. Their presence added to the excitement and significance of the rally, which celebrates the strength and spirit of women in motorsport.
Speaking about the rally, Sanjay Sharma, Head – Corporate Communication & Motorsport at JK Tyre, said, "For over a decade, JK Tyre has been committed to breaking barriers and making motorsport more inclusive for women. The JK Tyre – WIAA Women’s Rally to the Valley has grown into a marquee event that not only celebrates the spirit of motorsports but also amplifies important social causes. The participants of the rally used the event as a powerful platform to raise awareness about several important social issues, including road safety, women’s empowerment, sustainability, and the 'Miracle Of The Mind' movement. They also took the opportunity to honour women traffic police officers for their dedicated service. The rally follows a scenic route that passes some of Mumbai's most famous landmarks and will conclude in Nashik, where a grand celebration awaits. At the finale, winners will be recognized for their achievements and contributions to the cause.
