It's summertime – a season when all you want to do is sit in the park and chill with pals. So coffee shops need an appropriately delicious menu to entice customers through their doors. Thankfully, Costa Coffeemay have done just that.
From cheese bites with a rich tomato dip to a brand new Tiramisu Cookie Sandwich, my interest was definitely piqued. Not to mention the 'elite' viral iced drinks they have on offer. So would they actually taste as good as they look? I was determined to find out.
I went to try the new summer menu and there's one major showstopper I'd recommend trying. It may even pip the Dubai chocolate trend to the top spot!

Costa describes them as "golden, crumb-coated bites of melted cheese, served with a tangy tomato chutney for a satisfying, savoury snack".
The tomato sauce was definitely delicious, and the cheese bites were quite tasty. But if I were going to pop somewhere for cheese bites, if I'm honest, I'd probably be veering towards Maccies.

High Protein Chicken BitesWe're all trying to increase our protein intake, so it's good to know you can grab something that will help you do so while you're on the go.
Described by Costa as "crispy breaded chicken bites served with a smoky chipotle BBQ dip, delivering big flavour and a protein boost".
I was excited to try, as I love a chicken-based snack. And thankfully, they met my expectations.
These chicken bites were really tasty! The BBQ sauce was quite nice, but I definitely preferred the tomato sauce from the cheese bites, so ended up using that as a dip for these as well - and it was yummy.

Tiramisu Cookie Sandwich
Described as "the ultimate treat for dessert lovers," Costa said that this cookie sandwich is a "rich dark chocolate cookie sandwich filled with a tiramisu-inspired, creamy coffee frosting, finished with icing and cocoa powder".
This was an absolute showstopper. It might not look like much, and I was slightly underwhelmed when I pulled it out of the packaging. But the second I took a bite, I was left excitedly shouting at my partner for him to come and try it as well.
The only thing I would change about this is the cocoa powder, because it made it a little bit messy. But other than that, it was pure perfection, and it knocks spots off Dubai chocolate desserts I've tried.
If I were you, I'd definitely be picking one of these up the next time I'm near a Costa, because it's on the menu for a limited time only.

Spanish Latte"Featuring a sweet, condensed milk-flavoured sauce," I was excited to try this, but truthfully? It couldn't compare to its Tiramisu counterpart.
If I were going to get a sweet coffee, I'd rather get the Tiramisu one. To me, this just felt like an unnecessarily sweet normal coffee without the pizazz, but it may be up some people's streets as a commute treat.

Tiramisu Iced Whipped LatteIf you love the way tiramisu tastes and have always wondered what it would be like to drink one, look no further because this is exactly what it would taste like.
This is best saved for those with an incredibly sweet tooth, and while a little sickly, it's undeniably delightful.
Everything from the texture to the strong coffee flavours was a hit for me. It may not be the most refreshing drink I've ever tried, but honestly, it will cool you down in the sweetest way.
