Send Push

There could be heartbreak ahead on Emmerdale just weeks on from one couple getting married.

With two big secrets still under wraps, Vinny Dingle actor Bradley Johnson has spilled all on what the future holds for his character and wife Gabby Thomas. Next week, Gabby panics over her cheating drama, with it revealed she has betrayed Vinny at some point.

Meanwhile Vinny is still hiding what really happened with Mike from her, and the fact he's been questioning his sexuality and was having second thoughts about marrying her. It could all be revealed next week when Vinny faces Mike, the man who attacked and blackmailed him, in court.

Teasing what the future holds, Bradley said: "I think Vinny thinks that would be it. At the end of the day he has gone behind her back, he's been having doubts about his sexuality and stuff.

"Vinny knows what Gabby has been through in the past, and I don't think Gabby could take one more person doing that to her, it would break her. Vinny knows that."

On moments where Vinny almost reveals all, he added: "There’s a lot of scenes where you see Vinny almost tell Gabby and almost call the wedding off because he feels too guilty lying, but I think Gabby thinks Vinny is just nervous anxious about the whole thing."

Back to what the future holds, Bradley shared his "ideal" of what could happen next and admitted he wanted Vinny and Gabby to work. He shared: "I think in an ideal world I would love to see Vinny and Gabby work, and Vinny be honest and tell Gabby the truth.

"If she confides in Vinny and he tells her the truth and they work through it. They have both done things they shouldn’t have done.

"Being in that sort of relationship, they should have confided in each other and had that open conversation rather than go behind each other's backs, and do things they shouldn’t have done."

He went on: "From the start of the storyline to now, it's come a long way and it's an important storyline. So many people in the real world are struggling with their sexuality and we need to give the message that it's okay to talk, if you need to talk to loved ones.

"There are people out there. As an actor it has been brilliant and an emotional rollercoaster. It has been great to play." Viewers can see the scenes play out next week!
