Ryan Reynolds has made no secret of his love for Wales after teaming up with his actor friend Rob McElhenney to buy in a surprising takeover of the non-league club in 2021. The Deadpool star has since gone on to describe owning the club as "the joy of my life".
48, and Rob have since been stunned to see the team achieve two consecutive promotions since they took it over and even welcomed cameras into the ground to document the highs and lows of the season for a hit Disney+ series titled Welcome to Wrexham. When it comes to resting after a day of cheering on the crowds, it is believed the Canadian star unwinds at the luxury Carden Park hotel.
Reports have suggested that Ryan and his 37, have purchased a £1.5million house in Marford, just a few miles from Wrexham. However, it is believed the couple - as well as 48-year-old Rob - will stay at the Cheshire hotel, which is close to the training and playing grounds.
Indeed, the luxurious four-star estate is just ten miles from the Racecourse Ground and boasts top class sporting facilities, which Wrexham's players have used themselves.

The estate was even used by Sweden's national women's team and UEFA during last year's Women's Euros, with the estate having a full-sized football pitch. There are also two championship courses, one of which was designed by 18-time major winner Jack Nicklaus and his son Steve.
They also have a number of lavish restaurants and bars on the 1,000 acre estate, along with a luxurious spa that includes a swimming pool, beauty lounge, relaxation rooms, sauna and hot tubs.
Carden Park also welcomed the likes of Mo Farah and DJ as stars of 2020's recouped after their time in Wales.
Wrexham have just three games left to play this season and while they are the favourites to pip Notts County to automatic promotion, Reynolds and McElhenney have already been able to celebrate one promotion after Wrexham's women's team to secure a place in the Genero Adran Premier.
"ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. CONGRATULATIONS @WrexhamAFCWomen !!!!!!!" McElhenney tweeted after promotion was confirmed. "Wow. Wow. Wow. PROMOTION!!!!! So proud of this club!!!!!" added Reynolds on .

Last year, Ryan gushed about his love for Wrexham at a community event in Chicago hosted by former US president . The Deadpool star told the Obama Foundation 2024 Democracy Forum: “Sports, music and movies are all experiences that require us to check our bulls**t at the door.
“We all get to feel the same thing for a minute in a that's so tribal and we all get to root for the same thing. We take our hats off and whatever our tribal colours are, and we all get to feel something pretty special together.
“Wrexham has been the joy of my life, and it’s an ongoing joy. It is something that I've learned so much from.” The actor has become more involved in the local community since taking over the team.
In October last year, Ryan and Rob welcomed new minority investors to the club to boost their goal of improving the local area. Wales Online reported that the Allyn family from New York joined after selling their medical device manufacturing company, Welch Allyn Inc, for more than $2 billion (£1.5 billion) in 2015.
The family is known for investing in philanthropic projects after being involved in several schemes that improved neighbourhoods in New York. Ryan previously said: “Wrexham is like Scranton and a lot of towns in northern New York like Syracuse that have had a moment in time when they were boomtowns with coal and steel, and then fell on hard times.
“We went into this with the attitude that we don't know everything. We are not here to tell anyone how to play football - we are here to tell the story.
“Everything during the first year was (people asking) ‘why us?’ I remember one woman said to Rob and I that nothing good ever happens here, and nothing good will ever happen to me. It was very pervasive at the time, but the high tide raises all boats. You can centre storytelling around a community and do it in a way that's organic, where people feel reflected.”
