Married At First Sight star Holly Ditchfield slashes price of wedding dress after bitter backlash

Married At First Sight star Holly Ditchfield is struggling to sell off her reality show wedding dress - with a clash with a co-star seen as a reason she could be struggling.

The 29-year-old reality star from Huddersfield is among the cast of - which sees strangers get married the moment they meet. Holly from Birmingham, and were flown off to The Maldives for their honeymoon.

And while the current season is still airing, Holly is wasting no time in trying to get rid of her attention-grabbing wedding dress - as she is flogging it on Vinted. She initially planned to sell the gown for £800 but has since slashed the price after buyers failed to show interest.

The size 12 dress is listed as being in "Very good" condition and has been available to buy since Sunday 6 October. However, it appears the item is struggling to sell and Holly is now slashing the price in the hope of attracting a buyer.

Listed as "My MAFS wedding dress", the reality star wrote: "£700 till Friday! ( will deliver or collection is available if local) to save delivery rates." Her original posting mage it clear that the dress was worth more than double what she is now asking for.

The star wrote when originally listing: "Worn once!! Immaculate condition. Paid extra for the silver belt to be sewn onto the dress. Payed £1500." She shared the details alongside a string of images - including an official MAFS snap of her and Alex Henry on their TV show wedding day.

While Holly is a contestant on the current season of Married at First Sight, she has a connection to 2023 star Tasha Jay - who has been acting as a cheerleader for her since the 2024 season began airing. Highlighting the new episodes to fans online, Tasha, 26, wrote: "Tonight is the night for my baby girl. I'm so unbelievably proud of you and I can't wait to watch you shine, my Tasha 2.0. They're not ready ... make sure you tune in tonight to watch my angel get married! F**k it up sis."

While E4 viewers are watching Holly and Alex's marriage journey, fans online have sparked something of a backlash against the beautician after she appeared to "gang up" on fellow contestant Hannah Norburn, 32, who married Stephen Nolson, 32, on the show. Some fans accused Holly of teaming up with Polly Sellman, 28, during tense scenes on a girls' day during a retreat on the show.

But hitting back at the accusations online, Holly said: "I never ganged up with anybody. I was stating how I felt as I wasn’t in a position to see Hannah until the girls day. So when I did want to speak to her it turned out more than one person had an issue I had my own disagreement."

She insisted she had "no intention" for creating conflict, but added: "Unfortunately some people don’t like being on the receiving end of their behaviour so it became a back and forth conversation".
