Manchester United will bid farewell to at least nine players on Monday - with their contracts expiring.
The Red Devils are currently navigating the summer transfer window as they gear up for the 2025/26 Premier League season. Matheus Cunha has already been snapped up by United, and negotiations are underway to bring Bryan Mbeumo to Old Trafford.
It's yet to be seen who else United will pursue before the transfer window shuts on 1 September. However, when it comes to departures, at least nine players are certain to leave the club this summer.
United have confirmed that Jonny Evans, Victor Lindelof and Christian Eriksen will all exit the club when their playing contracts run out on 30 June, although United have now confirmed that Evans has retired from playing and will become the Head of Loans and Pathways for the club's academy.
The trio will depart Old Trafford as free agents and will be eligible to sign with a new club from Tuesday (1 July). Tom Heaton was also potentially leaving United this summer as his original contract was due to expire.

However, earlier this month it was announced that the seasoned goalkeeper has inked a one-year extension to stay at United for another season.
As part of their retained list, United also revealed that six academy stars would be exiting the club. Hubert Graczyk, Jack Kingdon, Sam Murray, Tom Myles, James Nolan and Tom Wooster will all leave when their contracts end by close of play on Monday.
United have also announced that Ashton Missin has been offered a new contract to prolong his tenure at the club. If an agreement isn't reached, the young forward would depart once his existing contract expires.
Meanwhile, Brentford have rejected Manchester United’s latest bid worth up to £62.5million for Mbeumo. United are pushing to bring in the 25-year-old forward, having completed the capture of Matheus Cunha earlier this month.
The Brazil international arrived from Wolves in a £62.5m deal, which is the amount United’s latest offer for Mbeumo came to when add-ons were included.
But Brentford are understood to have rebuffed that approach, just like a previous offer worth up to £55m, and talks continue over a move that the player is understood to have expressed his desire to make.
Spurs, now managed by Mbeumo’s ex-Bees boss Thomas Frank, are also interested in the Cameroon international. The forward’s contract at Brentford expires next summer, although there is an option to extend by a further year.
