Ask any Kopite and they feel Conor Bradley should be given the chance to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold for .
They love Bradley and he is one of the few Liverpool players they serenade apart from stars like Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz. They like his aggression and energy and was a real showreel moment for them.
That challenge summed up what the Kop love about Bradley and he is whole-hearted in everything he does for his boyhood club. It’s virtually impossible to replace Alexander-Arnold and there is no-one like him in world football.
On his day, he is the best passer in the Premier League, when he steps inside to the quarterback position and pings balls all over the pitch. He is an expert at set-pieces and has an eye for goal.

Despite being sidelined with three injuries this season, he has weighed in with four goals and seven assists in 40 appearances for Liverpool. Those are great statistics for a right-back and although Arne Slot does not want him and Andy Robertson to bomb forward like they did under Jurgen Klopp, he is a real threat.
Bradley can’t replace all that, especially as he is just 21 and Alexander-Arnold is approaching his peak years at 26. Bradley has managed just three assists in his 25 appearances for the Reds this season.
But he can offer other qualities to Alexander-Arnold. Defending is the obvious one and Alexander-Arnold can be a real weakness, highlighted by the fact that former England boss Gareth Southgate refused to pick him at right-back.

He was given the run around by Diogo Dalot when Manchester United drew at Anfield in January in another alarming moment. Bradley loves a tackle and few opponents get the better of him.
Bradley was a right winger before Liverpool moved him back to right-back and he is comfortable attacking with the ball at his feet. Northern Ireland boss Michael O’Neill feels he is far too good to pigeonhole as just a right-back and gives him licence to get forward from the right wing.
Bradley repaid O’Neill with four goals in 10 international appearances in 2024 and he has just been voted the Northern Ireland Player of the Year. He loves to attack and be a menace around the box with his runs and passes.

Liverpool are being strongly linked with Jeremie Frimpong and the Bayer Leverkusen and Holland wing-back is a more developed replacement for Alexander-Arnold at 24.
However Leverkusen will want at least £40million for Frimpong in what looks likely to be an expensive summer for the Reds as they strengthen their squad.
Liverpool do need another right-back and it was interesting that Slot preferred Curtis Jones there to Jarell Quansah for a couple of games. Bradley deserves his chance to blossom as a regular for Liverpool with the Reds signing another right-back as cover.
