IPL 2025 playoffs scenario: The 18th edition of IPL is underway, 39 matches have been played so far. Except Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals, all teams have played 8 matches each. There are 3 teams in the top 4 who have not won the IPL title yet while 5-time champions Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings are lagging behind. Now every match is important, know where all the teams are in the points table right now and what they have to do to reach the playoffs.
Gujarat Titans close to reaching the playoffs
Gujarat Titans have made their way to the playoffs easy by winning the 39th match of IPL by 39 runs. There has been no change in the points table but they have 12 points, Shubman Gill's team is at the top. Now they have 6 matches left, out of which they need to win at least 3 matches. They will not have to depend on the results of any other team.
Gujarat is the only team in the top 4 that has won the IPL title. After this, Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings are at second, third and fourth positions respectively. All three teams are in the fray for their first IPL title. Delhi has won 5 out of 7 matches, RCB and Punjab have played 8-8 matches and both have won 5-5 matches. Good comeback from Mumbai Indians
