Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist i.e. Aamir Khan is ready for his upcoming film Sitara Zameen Par. Apart from this, he is working on his dream film Mahabharata. Meanwhile, he has hinted that this big film could be his last film. In an interview given to Raj Shamani, the actor told how he wants his last film to be. Talking about Mahabharata, he said that he always wanted to make it. He said, "It is layered, it has emotions, it has scope, whatever you find in the world, you will find it in Mahabharata."
Aamir Khan hinted that Mahabharata could be his last film. He said, "Maybe after doing this I will feel that there is nothing left for me to do. I can't do anything after this, because the content of this film is going to be like this. I hope I die with my shoes on, but since you are asking, this is something I can think about. Maybe after this I feel that I don't need to do anything else.
Aamir also spoke to 'The Hollywood Reporter' about how big this project would be. He said, "This is one of my biggest ambitions and it will take years to write the story itself." When asked if he would act in it, he said, "We will see who we find suitable for which role."
When asked if he would direct the big film, Aamir said that 'Mahabharata' is a story that cannot be told in one go. While it is too early to say whether he will be the director or not, he said that the story will be made into multiple films. So, to complete it within a certain time, they will need more than one director.
