are reportedly eyeing up two deals worth a combined £92.5million. The moves, if they come off, could revolutionise 's attacking options after what has been a lacklustre campaign for United's current forward players.
Reinforcements are desperately needed in that department, and the Red Devils have been looking for solutions close to home. Transfer chief Jason Wilcox needs players who can cut it in the English top flight as United come to the end of a season in which they appear destined for a disappointing bottom-half finish. And he has been keeping a close watch on two stars who are already producing results in the division.
According to , United are considering summer moves for Wolves forward Matheus Cunha and Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap. Cunha would slot into one of the two No. 10 roles behind the striker, which could be Delap if Wilcox gets his way.
The release clauses in both of their contracts are an added bonus for United, who will not want to be drawn into long-running negotiations over a price tag. Cunha's stands at , while Delap will be attainable for just if Ipswich are relegated.
Making room for the total £92.5m outlay would require United to shed weight from their squad this summer. And there are four players who are widely expected to depart.

Victor Lindelof, Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans and Tom Heaton are all coming to the end of their contracts, and there are no indications that they will be extended. As senior players in their thirties, their departures will ease the strain on the wage bill and free up funds for United to go after first-team stars for Amorim.
The likes of Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho have been linked with the kind of big-money exits that could blow United's transfer window wide open. But part-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe insists United will not be forced to sell anyone they don't want to.
"There will be a budget for [Amorim], and I'm not going to reveal that," he told . "Obviously that budget changes based upon who we may choose to sell because that would supplement the budget. We are not at a place where we could reveal that at the moment.
"We won't be selling players because of the state we are in financially. The club had got bloated so we reduced that and will finish it with a lean and efficient organisation. That's how we will address the costs. The player decisions are ones that Omar [Berrada], Ruben and Jason - and a bit me - will make in the summer. And that will all be focused on how we are going to improve performance."
