Jadon Sancho's hefty wage packet is once again proving a stumbling block in his potential departure from Manchester United. Both Napoli and Juventus, the Italian champions, are interested in the 25-year-old winger but would prefer a loan deal that allows them to split his £250,000 weekly salary plus bonuses with United.
However, the Red Devils are insisting on a sale after Chelsea paid a £5million penalty clause to return the England international to Old Trafford. The Mirror claim that Sancho is open to a move to Serie A, having previously held talks with Juventus last summer before the deal fell through over financial issues.
In other news, Marcus Rashford could be left in a quandary as Barcelona are close to securing Athletic Club attacker Nico Williams. Rashford had been hoping for a move to Catalonia following his six-month loan at Aston Villa, but if Barca sign Williams, this move seems unlikely.
Como have shown interest in £81.3m disappointment Antony, but the Brazilian is currently leaning towards a return to Real Betis, who are keen on another loan deal for the 25 year old. United feel it's the ideal time to sell Antony following his impressive form in Spain.
Bayer Leverkusen have shown some interest, but his preference for Betis could corner the Red Devils.
Earlier this month, Rasmus Hojlund expressed his determination to secure his spot at United while on international duty with Denmark.
While Ruben Amorim isn't actively seeking to offload the 22-year-old, the Red Devils would consider letting him go for the right offer.
Inter Milan had shown interest in a loan-to-buy deal which would have seen United take a substantial loss on the £72m they paid Atalanta for the Danish player in 2023. However, they're now in advanced negotiations to sign Parma striker Ange-Yoan Bonny.
Hojlund's dedication to honouring his contract and his potential under Amorim means his departure is not guaranteed, especially when players like Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho and Antony are keen to leave.
Rashford, valued at £40m, is prepared to return to United training next month if no suitable offers for his services come through.
