star has had his say on the ongoing public feud between and 's .
The pair have recently reignited their war of words after Brown called for there to be a 'thorough investigation' from the FIA into a controversial device on Red Bull's car ahead of the United States Grand Prix.
The reigning world champions responded by admitting they had a bib device in the RB20 cockpit to change the height of their car in Parc Ferme conditions between qualifying and the race, which would be illegal if used.
Brown has doubled down on calling for the matter to be investigated, with Red Bull's Horner hitting back by labelling the accusations as 'moaning'.
It is not the first time that the two have come to loggerheads in the public eye, though Verstappen has revealed that he enjoys a much more positive relationship with Brown in comparison.
Despite the McLaren chief calling for the FIA to investigate the RB20, the Dutchman opened up on how he still speaks to Brown when they cross paths.
Speaking to , Verstappen was asked about the calls for Red Bull to be investigated over the bib, to which he replied: "It is not necessarily McLaren, but it is more Zak.
"He does not like Christian, and I don't think that is the case the other way around either. But the fact that they do not like each other is not my problem. I have an excellent relationship with Zak. It's not like we're on the phone, but I just saw him and then it's all good."
Although the severity of the accusations cannot be understated, Verstappen brushed off any speculation on the matter in the same style that Horner did when quizzed on the matter by Sky Sports F1.
Speaking earlier this week, the Red Bull boss said: "I think there's been a bit of moaning from one of our rivals. And it's the FIA's job to look into these things. It's on a list of the open-source components, so it's been publicly available for the last three years.
"The FIA are happy with it, I think, just to satisfy perhaps some paranoia elsewhere in the paddock. I feel that it's sometimes to distract from perhaps what's going on in your own house, then sometimes you try to light a fire somewhere else?"
