Once a busy thoroughfare to Torquay, Kingskerswell has been transformed since the introduction of the A380 bypass.
It's now a sought-after destination for downsizers travelling from the M5 or M4 corridors, said Simon Fisher from Absolute estate agents.
He said: "In the past decade it's become a desirable place full of community spirit and with great connections."
