The research also revealed that 32% head straight to the nearest pub in the airport after going through security, with the UK's cheapest airport pint finally being revealed.
With added costs on most items in the UK and the increasing strain regarding the crisis, there's never been a better time to be armed with such knowledge. Five of these UK airports are tied for having the cheapest pint of beer. The research carried out by also revealed which UK airport serves up the cheapest full English breakfast, with London making a surprising and big feature in the list.
Many were surprised by the results, as the top five featured three London-based airports, which were found after further research of over 140 UK airport bars and restaurants and their price offerings.
But with £5.20 beers, it's a no-brainer that Birmingham International, Edinburgh Airport, Stansted Airport, London Gatwick, and London Heathrow should all be on your list for your next cheeky pre-holiday pint.
London also featured among the UK cities with the cheapest full English breakfast, and this was found at Leon, in both London Heathrow and London Stansted, for only £6.29.
Glasgow Airport also deserves a notable mention, offering a delicious pint of Tennent's Lager at Tennent's Pier Bar for only £6.25.

Edinburgh Airport featured again in the cheapest UK airport offerings, particularly for cheap breakfast offerings, which can be found at the Black Sheep Coffee Wetherspoons with a breakfast pot for only £7.39, or a breakfast plate for £9.60.
The study also found that Benito's in London's Luton Airport was also famed for its cost effectiveness, with a Full English coming at a cool £7.50.
Tap & Brew in Cardiff also featured on the list with a full English breakfast costing passengers only £8.99, with Wetherspoons in Birmingham costing £9.60.
It was bad news for passengers at Manchester Airport, London City Airport or Newcastle Airport, however.
Passengers using these airports can expect to fork out as much £16.95 for a Full English breakfast per portion here.
