Epstein's Audio Tapes Expose Trump's White House Secrets

New York author and journalist Michael Wolff released audio recordings from a 2017 conversation with Jeffrey Epstein, where Epstein discusses his close social ties with former President Donald Trump. Wolff states the recordings were made at the SoHo branch of Ladurée, a Manhattan patisserie, where he had met Epstein to explore the idea of writing his biography. Trump’s campaign dismissed Wolff’s claims, calling him a “disgraced writer."

Epstein Reveals Trump’s White House DynamicsIn the tapes, the late financier describes how Trump, then-president, managed his administration by fostering rivalries among his staff.“His people fight each other and then he poisons the well outside,” he tells Wolff. "He will tell ten people ‘Bannon’s a scumbag’ and ‘Priebus is not doing a good job’ and ‘Kellyanne has a big mouth’—what do you think? Jamie Dimon [CEO of JPMorgan Chase] says that you’re a problem and I shouldn’t keep you. And I spoke to [financier] Carl Icahn. And Carl thinks I need a new spokesperson."He continues: “So Kelly[anne]—even though I hired Kellyanne’s husband—Kellyanne is just too much of a wildcard. And then he tells Bannon, you know I really want to keep you but Kellyanne hates you."Wolff claims this recording is a small part of “100 hours of Epstein talking about the inner workings of the Trump White House and about his long standing, deep relationship with Donald Trump” that he claims to have. Photos Of Trump With Young WomenWolff also alleges that Epstein showed him photos of Trump with “topless young women” sitting in his lap. Speaking about the photos, Wolff said, “They were with Trump at Epstein’s Palm Beach house sitting around the pool with these young girls, and the young girls are topless. And in some of the pictures, they’re sitting in his lap. I mean, and, and then there’s one I especially remember where there’s a stain, a telltale stain and on the front of Trump’s pants, and the girls are pointing at him and laughing.” Trump campaign responseIn response, Trump's 2024 campaign press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, criticized Wolff’s claims, telling The Daily Beast: "Michael Wolff is a disgraced writer who routinely fabricates lies in order to sell fiction books because he clearly has no morals or ethics. He waited until days before the election to make outlandish false smears all in an effort to engage in blatant election interference on behalf of Kamala Harris. He’s a failed journalist that is resorting to lying for attention."
