Authorities responded to a massive fire near the Hollywood Burbank Airport in Greater Los Angeles area on Sunday. According to local media reports, one runway was shut down. Locals posted videos on social media showing a large plume of smoke in the area as firefighters battled the blaze, which was reported just before 4 PM local time near Vanowen Street and Vineland Avenue. The Los Angeles Fire Department said that the fire was burning next to railroad tracks and a commercial building with placards, which indicate potential hazardous materials.
