Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma presented awards to three departments and six officers at a function organised Monday on Civil Services Day. Industries department was recognised for spearheading Rising Rajasthan investment summit and mobilising MoUs worth Rs 35 lakh crore. The dept's principal secretary, Ajitabh Sharma, received the award.
RNT Medical College, Udaipur, emerged as the best performer for its "Mera Aspatal Meri Zimmedari" initiative for improving cleanliness and accountability. Similarly, the govt recognised efforts of the pension and pensioners welfare department.
Officers awarded for their exemplary work were divisional commissioner of Udaipur Pragya Kewalramani, Sawai Madhopur district collector Shubham Choudhary, Jodhpur Zila Parishad CEO Dheeraj Kumar Singh, Sirohi SP Anil Kumar Beniwal, DCF Wildlife (Bharatpur) Manas Singh, and Superintendent of Bikaner Jail Suman Maliwal. tnn
