Jaisalmer: Police recovered the body of a young man buried in the sand dunes near Kitnod village in Balotra district, six days after he went missing. Purnasingh (25) from Jalore, had left home on April 13 to meet his former girlfriend before her wedding. His body was found on April 19. Five people, including three women and the main accused, have been arrested. According to Balotra SP Hari Shankar, Purnasingh visited his lover's house and insisted on taking her away.
Enraged, her relatives assaulted him and later called her uncle Kansinh from Muthli. Together, they took him to an isolated house, beat him to death with sticks, and buried his body in the dunes under the cover of night. tnn
