Police arrests 2 for killing man in Barmer

Jaisalmer: Two suspects were arrested Friday for the brutal murder of a person identified as Fota Ram in the Ramsar police station area of Barmer district. Fota Ram had gone to meet a woman at her house on Wednesday night when the woman's two nephews who live 200 metres away began beating him. He was seriously injured and left in front of the woman's house. Following a report by Fota Ram's mother, Halima, the Ramsar police promptly registered a case. An autopsy was conducted and the body was handed over to Fota Ram's family. A special team raided various locations and apprehended suspects Dhanaram and Chelaram. After thorough interrogation, both were formally arrested. tnn
