Fire breaks out at Kidwai Nagar vegetable mkt

Kanpur: A major fire broke out late at night in a pile of scrap and sacks at Kidwai Nagar vegetable market in Kanpur. Four fire units that reached the spot after receiving information worked together to completely extinguish the fire while preventing it from spreading to nearby houses. There was no loss of life.

Chief Fire Officer Deepak Sharma said that the police and their personnel are investigating the causes of the fire. tnn
