Jaipur/Ajmer: Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) Thursday declared results for its Class 12 exams, with girls once again performing better than boys in all three streams—science, commerce, and humanities. The results were released virtually by school education Minister Madan Dilawar, who also spoke to meritorious students of all three streams.
The pass percentage for science this year was 98.4%, commerce 99%, and humanities 97.8%, an improvement compared to last year, when the pass percentage was 97.7% for science, 98.9% for commerce, and 96.9%for humanities.
The minister congratulated Anupriya Rathore, Pragati Agarwal, Priyanka, and Urmila in the humanities sream for scoring 99.6%; Kangana in commerce stream for scoring 99%, and Preeti Kumar in science stream for scoring 99.8%.
"It is a matter of happiness that daughters are moving forward. Our efforts are that results of RBSE should keep improving like this," said Dilawar after speaking to the top scorers.
This year, 196 students failed in one subject in humanities stream, whereas in commerce it was 1,400 students, and in science, 1,109 students.
