It never really ends, as the actress has accused Baldoni of using aggressive litigation tactics to silence her from speaking against sexual harassment.

Blake Lively’s lawyers, Esra Hudson and Mike Gottlieb, accused the famed actor, Justin, of attempting to ‘tear down’ the laws that protect accusers, according to US Weekly.
“Mr. Baldoni has gone from monetizing a brand devoted to believing and supporting women, to leading the charge to tear down the very law that protects women who come forward about sexual assault, harassment and discrimination,” the lawyers shared in a statement.
“California’s sexual harassment privilege, AB 933, was enacted to stop perpetrators of sexual harassment from abusing defamation lawsuits to sue their accusers into oblivion,” they added.
Furthermore, her legal team expressed that Baldoni’s ‘tactics’ are sending the world a chilling message. “The chilling message ‘scorched earth litigation’ sends to victims is stay silent or be destroyed,” they stated.
Blake Lively’s lawyers claimed that the Wayfarer Parties’ (representatives of Justin Baldoni) attempt to slap the actress with a retaliatory defamation lawsuit for speaking out against the sexual harassment on the set and smear campaigns has failed, with exposing them to substantial economic damages. “Ms. Lively will continue to show all victims that they are not alone, that they do not have to stay silent, and that the law is on their side,” they added.

Previously, the ‘Gossip Girl’ actress filed to motion in the court to dismiss Baldoni’s $400 million lawsuit. However, Justin’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, retaliated by stating, “Ms. Lively and her circle of Hollywood elites cannot prevent my clients from exercising their constitutional right to petition the court to clear their names from her false and harmful claims.”
