On Saturday morning, Charu took to Instagram stories to share a screenshot from Rajeev’s recent interview and sarcastically commented, “Wow that’s beautiful. Whatever I do is always drama for this man.” Her response came just a day after Rajeev questioned how someone struggling financially could afford an expensive cruise trip with family.
Rajeev Sen questions her financial claims
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Rajeev said, “She could afford a cruise trip with her brother and his wife, which is pretty expensive, and she paid for everyone’s ticket. Where does this financial struggle come into play?” He also alleged that Charu is looking to buy a house in Bikaner. “Buying property, even with a loan, isn’t cheap. If she’s managing cruises and her regular shopping, as seen in her daily vlogs, it clearly shows she’s not struggling financially,” he added.
Charu defends her life decisions
Charu had previously opened up about relocating from Mumbai to Bikaner in the same publication. She cited financial reasons and parenting concerns. “Living in Mumbai is not easy; it costs money. My monthly expenses were around ₹1–1.5 lakh including rent. Also, I didn’t want to leave Ziana with a nanny while I shot in Naigaon. Moving back home and starting something on my own was planned,” she clarified.
