Mia Zelu , a digital personality with nearly 200K followers, uploaded a photo carousel that looked like she was attending Wimbledon in London. The lifelike pictures quickly grabbed attention online. Mia Zelu is an AI influencer known for posting fashion and travel content . Her recent post from Wimbledon appeared real at first glance. The images showed her sitting near the tennis court at the All England Club and holding the tournament’s famous drink, Pimm’s. But there was a twist, Mia Zelu is not a real person.

Despite her human-like photos, Mia Zelu is completely AI-generated. Her creator has not been publicly identified, but the account bio clearly states she is an “AI influencer” and “digital storyteller.” She posted the Wimbledon images on Monday, July 7. The caption read, “Still not over the event… but the party’s a whole other game Which Wimbledon match was your fave?”

The post collected nearly 50,000 likes. However, Mia Zelu had disabled the comment section, preventing fans from reacting publicly. That only added to the mystery and debate.

Mia Zelu joins growing trend of viral AI influencers fooling users

This isn’t the first time Mia Zelu has gone viral. Her emotional captions and personal-style posts often mimic human feelings. On June 8, she posted about burnout and pretending to be okay. Many followers relate to her words, not realizing she is not human.

Mia Zelu also has an AI-generated “sister,” Ana Zelu, who runs her own Instagram account with nearly 300K followers. Both are part of a growing wave of AI influencers taking over social media.

Barcelona-based company “The Clueless” is behind several AI personalities, including another popular AI woman named Aitana. According to co-founder Diana Núñez, Aitana’s realistic appearance has attracted even celebrities to reach out privately.

This rise of AI influencers is sparking fresh debate. While some admire the creativity, others feel it blurs the line between real and fake on the internet. Mia Zelu’s Wimbledon post has now become the latest example of how AI content continues to trick and trend online.
