Lancashire cricketer Tom Bailey was caught on camera dropping his mobile phone while batting during a County Championship match against Gloucestershire at Old Trafford. The incident occurred when Bailey, batting at No. 10 with the team score over 400, was attempting his first runs off Josh Shaw in the 114th over of Lancashire's innings.
The 34-year-old seamer, who is approaching 400 wickets in his First-Class career, had the phone fall out of his pocket while completing a second run after playing a flick towards fine-leg. The incident was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media.

The commentators immediately noticed the unusual occurrence during the live broadcast. "Something has dropped out of his pocket. I think it's his mobile phone!" one commentator observed, with another responding, "No way!"
One of the commentators further added: "As much as it is hilarious and we are laughing about it, I almost wonder if that's going to have to be reported. The fact that he was out in the middle .. (chuckles) with a mobile phone in his pocket (more laughs)."
