Twitter user DogeDesigner who regularly shares posts on Elon Musk recently shared one of the quite common posters from Tesla protests. The poster reads: ' SEND MUSK TO MARS '. Sharing the image, DogeDesigner wrote on Twitter: "Who exactly are they yelling at to send Musk to Mars? Pretty sure the only guy building a rocket to Mars… is Musk himself. 😂" Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk also joined the fun and replied to DogeDesigner's post in six words and two laughing emojis.
"I’m trying, I’m trying 🤣🤣," wrote Musk.
Kind of carrying forward the 'Go to Mars' 'joke', Elon Musk shared another related post on Twitter. He shared a Ghibli photo of himself and son X. In the photo, Musk's son X is wearing a T-shair with 'Occupy Mars' written on it.
Mars will be called the “New World”
DogeDesigner shared another post that said: Mars will be called the “New World”. To this, Elon Musk replied in affirmation, writing 'Yes'.
Elon Musk announces: SpaceX's Starship to Carry Optimus Robots to Mars by 2026
In a bold step toward interplanetary exploration, Elon Musk recently announced plans to send Tesla's Optimus humanoid robots to Mars aboard SpaceX's Starship rocket by the end of 2026. The announcement, shared via a post on Twitter, marks the first public disclosure of integrating Tesla's advanced robotics into a Martian mission. "Starship will hopefully depart for Mars at the end of next year with Optimus explorer robots!," wrote Musk.
Musk envisions the uncrewed mission as a critical milestone in SpaceX's ambition to make humanity a multiplanetary species, a goal he says is essential for the survival of consciousness. The Starship, a fully reusable spacecraft designed for deep-space travel, will deploy Optimus robots to prepare Mars' harsh environment for future human settlers.
While the timeline is ambitious, experts highlight significant technical hurdles that must be overcome. If successful, the mission would cement SpaceX's role in pioneering sustainable human presence on the Red Planet, bringing Musk's vision closer to reality.
