Dwight Howard , the NBA legend , found himself in a mess this year when his marriage to reality TV star, Amy Luciani almost came to an end in July 2025, after the two were only married for six months. As per court documents accessed by PEOPLE, Amy Luciani had stated that their six month long marriage was “irretrievably broken” but it seems that there is a new twist to the case now. A few hours ago, Dwight Howard’s wife, Amy Luciani, took to her social media to advise young women on marriage as she called her decision to divorce “silly and stupid”.
In a video that Dwight Howard’s wife, Amy Luciani, posted on her Instagram, the reality TV star opened up on the type of marriage that “successful” and “top tier” men are looking for. Amy Luciani said, “Successful, top-tier men, they just want peace. They don’t want anything else.”

Dwight Howard’s wife, Amy Luciani, added, “And I’m about to say something that’s probably gonna hurt y’all feelings. Black successful men do marry Black women…”
The popular reality TV star continued, “I already know, sis, life was not easy for us and along the way, we formed a little neck roll that we can’t get rid of. Because life was hard doesn’t give you the right to be rude, a b—h, confrontational, nasty attitude, uncooperative — any of those things…”

However, Dwight Howard has not confirmed whether his marriage to Amy Luciani has come to an end or if the two are working on it.
