Jaipur: Due to a technical error in the Automatic Message Switching System (AMSS) at the Delhi airport, the movement of over 15 flights was affected from Jaipur airport too Friday. Several flights from Jaipur airport were delayed by two to four hours, while a Jaipur-Udaipur flight was cancelled.
The Jaipur International Airport Friday afternoon issued a passenger advisory stating, "Flight operations at Jaipur International Airport have been affected by a technical issue impacting the Automatic Message Switching System in Delhi, which supports Air Traffic Control flight planning. The concerned authorities are actively working to resolve the issue at the earliest. As a result, airline operations may experience delays."

The advisory further urged passengers to connect with respective airlines for updates on flight status and revised schedules. "We regret the inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience and cooperation," added the advisory. Due to the error, flights to Lucknow, Pune, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Chandigarh, Chennai, and Indore were delayed by two to five hours. On Friday evening, Indigo Airlines also issued a travel advisory requesting passengers to check their flight status and arrive a little earlier than usual to allow additional time at the airport.
