NEW DELHI: A Mumbai-bound private airline flight was delayed by about two hours on Saturday after one of its tyres burst while preparing for take-off, airport officials said.
The incident occurred around 4.40 pm when the flight, carrying 156 passengers, was on the runway. Following the tyre burst, the aircraft safely returned, and all passengers were reported to be safe.
The damaged tyre was replaced, and the flight resumed its journey after the delay, officials added.
