US President Donald Trump on Tuesday reacted to a viral AI-generated video that charts his life from childhood to a projected return to the White House, calling it “a little bit scary.”

Addressing the video during his Oval Office announcement, Trump said, “I saw something as I was growing up from the time I was a baby till now. I said, 'Who did that?' It was AI-generated. So it's a little bit scary, to be honest with you.”

He referenced the video while talking about the viral clip showing objects being thrown outside the White House, dismissing it as fabricated, “If something happens really bad, just blame AI, but also they create things so it works both ways. But it’s true though, I see so many phony things.”

The widely shared video on X begins with Trump as a child in 1949 and highlights key moments in his early life, including his time at New York Military School in 1964 and his graduation from Wharton Business School in 1968.

It then moves on to his business milestones, showing him taking control of the Trump Organization in 1971, opening Trump Tower in New York City in 1983, and publishing The Art of the Deal in 1986. The AI-generated timeline also features his media presence, including appearances on Saturday Night Live in 2002 and the launch of The Apprentice in 2004.

The video later shifts to his political career, showing his 2016 presidential election victory and concluding with a projection that he will become the 47th US president in 2025.

The AI-generated video has sparked mixed reactions online. One X user joked, "Now I finally know which way he parts his hair…" while others debated the accuracy and implications of the depiction.
