'What a ridiculous situation we are in': Donald Trump lashes out at courts over immigration delays

President Donald Trump mocked former President Joe Biden on Monday during the annual White House Easter Egg Roll, bringing up a viral 2022 moment involving Biden and an aide dressed as the Easter Bunny.

Standing alongside First Lady Melania Trump and mingling with guests on the South Lawn, Trump joked about a now-infamous clip from Biden’s presidency.

In the video, a costumed Easter Bunny — later identified as a White House aide — intervened as Biden spoke to reporters about foreign policy, steering him away mid-conversation.

“Do you remember the bunny with Joe Biden?” Trump asked the crowd. “Remember? Do you remember when the bunny took Joe Biden out? He's not taking Trump out. That was a beautiful moment, when the bunny saved Joe Biden.”

He doubled down on the jab shortly after, asking again: “You remember when the bunny saved Joe Biden? The bunny's not going to save me, right? I got a better bunny.”

Trump’s remarks drew laughter from attendees and Melania Trump, and were later featured on official White House social media accounts, along with archival footage of Biden’s 2022 moment.
