The incident, which is being described as the worst since the 2019 Pulwama attack, has left Pakistan diplomatically cornered amid increasing scrutiny over the involvement of terror groups operating from its soil.

Global Outrage as TRF Claims Responsibility

The banned terror outfit The Resistance Front (TRF)—a proxy of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT)—has claimed responsibility for the attack. The brazen assault has drawn sharp criticism from major global powers including the United States, Russia, and China, who have unequivocally condemned the targeting of innocent civilians.

Arab Nations Voice Solidarity with India

In a significant diplomatic signal, key Middle Eastern countries have stood firmly with India. Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah conveyed condolences to President Droupadi Murmu, expressing sorrow over the targeted killing of tourists and wishing the injured a swift recovery. The statement also reaffirmed Kuwait’s stand against terrorism.

Similarly, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a strong condemnation, stating:

“We reject all forms of cowardly acts of violence and extremism. Saudi Arabia stands in solidarity with India during this difficult time and expresses heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families.”

Both nations reiterated during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to Saudi Arabia that terrorism cannot be justified under any circumstances, rejecting attempts to link terrorism with any religion, ethnicity, or culture.

UAE Labels the Attack as a Crime Against Humanity
